You would think this photograph was taken in some southern state with the hanging branches of the tree. But it was actually taken in Washington DC.
Along the Potomac River are these trees with hanging branches. The morning I photographed The Rocks Of The Potomac, I also shot this picture. It’s taken near the Navy-Merchant Marine Memorial. The sun was rising over the 14th St Bridge and created a nice silhouette of the hanging branches from the tree.
