The Air Force Memorial is pretty quiet in the early morning hours.
While it’s not a real castle, it’s the closest thing to a castle that’s in Washington DC!
While this photograph wasn’t taken today, it definitely captures how frozen DC currently is.
I shot this photograph of an early morning red dawn over Washington DC last month.
With Veterans Day Weekend coming up I decided to post a photo of the soldiers raising the flag at Iwo Jima. I took this photograph of the Iwo Jima Memorial on the same morning I took the last one, Forged In Fire. All I had to do was have patience and wait for the colors of the sky to change.
If it’s close to Halloween, that means it’s pumpkin carving time! This year I carved my new-born son’s face into a pumpkin. The video is ok, didn’t have the camera positioned right though. If you are interested in doing one of these yourself checkout my tutorial.
If you go see Jefferson in the morning you’ll almost always have the memorial all to yourself.
I actually took this photograph last month. This wasn’t the photograph I went out to get, but I’m glad I did get it with the moon over the bridge before it was gone.
