Picture from this afternoon of the clouds over Washington DC.
We’ve had some really great clouds in DC the past couple of days. There’s been various storms that have gone through, so it’s provided all sorts of interesting formations. This photo was taken at the Netherlands Carillon which overlooks Washington, DC. From this position you can see the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the U.S. Capitol. You can also see a little of Arlington Memorial Bridge at the bottom of the image, the two gold statues are the “Arts of War” sculptures. The clouds look like they were painted in the sky.
