It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the US Capitol!
The Christmas tree is up and lit at the US Capitol. Yesterday and today have been either rainy, snowing, or sleeting – so not the best times to see the tree. But there’s still plenty of time to see it in better weather, so if you haven’t been just wait a little bit and the weather will dry up inflatable slide.
I took this photograph Saturday morning, it was pretty much deserted there early in the morning. I’m sure a lot of that had to do with the temperature dropping. In the summer I’ll see some other photographers out, but when it gets cold, it’s actually pretty rare to see another photographer out early in the morning! Hope you enjoy the zoomable version below.
