A couple of months ago my wife and I went to Monticello for the day. The skies these past couple of days reminds me of the sky back when we went.
Monticello is the home of Thomas Jefferson, located on the top of a mountain just outside of Charlottesville, VA. Once you see the views and feel the cool breeze you realize why someone would want to build a home here! The day we went we did the tour of the house. The house isn’t as big as you would image, and when you find out how many people lived there at one time, you realize it’s pretty small!
If you’ve never been there it’s a nice day trip to take – hopefully you’ll have good weather like we did!
