Setting Sail

One evening as we were setting sail I was wondering around the upper deck of our cruise ship. Not many people were out since it was a little chilly out.  The sky was covered with rolling clouds and the sun was below the horizon, so it was during the blue hour.  The outside pool area was illuminated so it balanced with the light in the sky.  Since we were so far north the twilight hours lasted a lot longer then they do in the Washington DC area.  So instead of a blue hour, we’d have a blue three hours!
