The sailboats at night of the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club.
Last year my wife and I went on an Alaskan cruise with her family. The port we set sail from was located in Vancouver, BC Canada. A really nice city, tourist friendly, and very easy to just walk around if you don’t want to rent a car or take a taxi. The hotel we stayed at was the Westin Bayshore Vancouver near the Bayshore West Marina. Next to our hotel was Cardero Park which looked out over the water at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club with Grouse Mountain in the background.
The night before we were to set sail on our Alaskan Cruise I went out to the park to take pictures of the sailboats and Grouse Mountain in the background. There wasn’t any wind at all that night so even with a long exposure the sailboats didn’t move around much to cause them to blur in the shot. They provided a nice reflection in the cool blue water.
