Naked Creek Falls

Along Skyline Drive are many hiking trails that you can park and enjoy a trip through nature.  Some of the trails follow streams that have waterfalls on them.  Most of the waterfalls are away from the drive, so takes a little hiking to get there.  But there are some that are close to the road, like Naked Creek Falls.

The waterfall pictured here are literally right next to the road of Skyline Drive.  If you are driving along with the windows down, you can actually hear the waterfall from your car!  Makes it pretty easy to get to.

The actual falls are in the back of the photograph, but I really liked a spot a little further down from the waterfalls.  The water cascading over the rocks and the moss caught my attention.  The full size version has so much texture and detail to it.  You can zoom into it below and see what I mean!
