It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the US Capitol!
I shot this photograph of an early morning red dawn over Washington DC last month.
If you go to the US Capitol early in the morning you can get a nice reflection in the water. But, you have to get there before the ducks wake-up!
My series, Repairing The Monument, presented as a triptych.
Sometimes when you are really lucky you can get the photograph before the rain comes in.
The weather conditions were good enough this past week that I was able to go over and take my yearly picture of the Christmas tree at the US Capitol. You’ll want to read the rest of this post so you can get to the zoomable version of this photo. There you’ll be able to zoom into it and see all the detail!
