A photo of the Washington DC monuments at sunrise.
When the sun is first coming up in the morning you can capture some pretty vivid colors, but they don’t last long. Here I was able to get the monuments with a nice orange glow in the sky from the sunrise, but at the same time the waters of the Potomac a cool blue. This picture looking into Washington DC was taken in Arlington, VA at the Netherlands Carillon. One of the few places you can get a picture of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and US Capitol together. If you want to see the three most recognizable Washington monuments at sunrise, you should definitely go there!
