This will be the last of the cherry blossom pictures for this year! Although since it was so early in the morning the blossoms aren’t that easy to see.
This photograph is from the second day I went down to the Tidal Basin to catch the sunrise when the cherry blossoms were in bloom. The day before the blossoms were definitely in full bloom with TONS of people walking around. This day you could tell a big difference in the number of people walking around. It was a lot less than the day before.
My wife and I got there early in the morning to catch the sunrise. This was taken as the sky was just starting to lighten up and turn a nice blue color. The Tidal Basin was fairly still, so the monuments and buildings reflected in the water nicely. While it’s a little hard to see the cherry blossoms they are there:
