Today the Washington Monument greeted you with a cool blue morning.
There weren’t many clouds in the sky this morning. But that just meant that the sky would take on a more solid color as the sun began to approach the horizon. As long as you were setup and ready for it, you could capture it. Luckily I was waiting!
With the water back in the reflecting pool and the temperatures warming up, the ducks are back with little ones! There were a lot of small baby ducks swimming around eating insects. Of course with all the ducks there it also means the “smell” is back. The ducks seem to enjoy using the reflecting pool as their personal bathroom, and when you are near the edge of the water you can tell!
