I actually took this photograph last month. This wasn’t the photograph I went out to get, but I’m glad I did get it with the moon over the bridge before it was gone.
I took this picture of the Rosslyn skyline after the sun was setting and a storm had moved through the area. The storm really gave a lot of drama to the clouds in the sky. I was sitting along the Potomac River on the DC shoreline, just at the bottom of Georgetown where the waterfront is at.
Rosslyn sits directly across the Potomac River from Washington, DC in Virginia. This image is actually a stitched HDR image. It’s made up of 90 images total, each stitch being 3 images of different exposure.
